As of 2019, Builder has over 500 clients globally and an approximate annual revenue of $43M. In a candid conversation with Express Computer’s Gairika Mitra, the founder spills the beans on how technology has heralded a massive upswing in businesses. How do you think this sector is going to upsurge in the near future? India has established approximately 48 million small businesses over the past decade, nearly double the number of the US. However, unlike the US, most businesses in India are hesitant to invest in digital transformation due to a lack of tech expertise, resources or both. Sachin Dev Duggal Engineer AI Career Advice

Sachin Dev Duggal Engineer AI is a London-born serial entrepreneur who has experience of building businesses in the UK, US and India. Currently CEO and founder of Engineer.ai, he has also previously founded companies such as Nivio and Shoto. Q.What was the most valuable piece of career advice that you received? A. Just recently, I learned about the realities of rapidly scaling a company. When you go from 10 people to 200 people, you go from having an answer, to having the process to have the answer, to having the people that know the process to having an answer. Now, when you go through that double quick, you have zero time to acclimatise to that shift and that's challenging. Because when you, as the co-founder, know it so well that the process and the answer is all in one split second, it gets frustrating why problems don't get solved in bigger teams as quickly. It is also why young companies work so much faster...because the process and the answer there is the same thi...

It possesses a narrow-range of abilities. This is the only AI in existence today, for now. Narrow AI is something most of us interact with on a daily basis. Think of Google Assistant, Google Translate, Siri, Cortana, or Alexa. They are all machine intelligence that use Natural Language Processing (NLP). NLP is used in chatbots and other similar applications. By understanding speech and text in natural language they are programmed to interact with humans in a personalized, natural way. Sachin Dev Duggal is the founder of SD Squared Labs

Sachin Dev Duggal is the founder of SD Squared Labs, a boutique complete services software & application development company I know Sachin Dev Duggal who is current CEO & Founder of Engineer.ai as the guy who created Nivio, a company that actually let you get Windows apps on your freaking iPad, and it was all legal. It was this beautiful thing. People loved it. And Sachin Dev Duggal sold it. I thought we were going to do an interview about that and that’s what I’m all geared up for. Instead, that’s kind of going to be the backstory to what ends up being the actual interview, which is this new company that is actually bigger, more substantive and it’s called SD Squared. It’s got this crazy freaking business model that if I didn’t know somebody who worked there, I wouldn’t believe it actually existed. If anyone goes to SD Squared and has SD Squared build an app, it costs no more than $25,000 for an app on any single platform. If it’s more expensive, then they j...
